Most recently, Deanna was a Senior Advisor with Adelphi Capital, a Washington, DC based investment banking and strategic consulting firm providing transaction advisory and business development solutions to emerging and mid-sized companies.

Before joining Adelphi, Deanna was Co-founder and CFO/COO of Applied Recruitment Technologies, Inc. (ART).  Deanna managed the business from start-up in 1993 to successful exit in 2005 as the healthcare industry’s largest Internet job board.  Warburg Pincus acquired ART as the platform company for an industry consolidation.   Deanna continued in her role post buyout supporting M&A and integration activities for five follow on acquisitions.

Prior to that, Deanna held a variety of advisory and account management positions in the health insurance and employee benefits industry with Cigna and Aetna.

On why she chose to join a startup, Deanna replied, “Over the past 5 years I’ve reviewed, advised or invested in hundreds of businesses but none had the potential I saw in Dizzion.  The more I learned about the business, the more I wanted to participate beyond a passive investment”.
